Solidarity Partnership with the Reto Pichón
One of the most dynamic and inspiring avenues for the Azvi Group Foundation’s corporate social responsibility is its strategic partnership with Reto Pichón, a nationally recognised charity movement spearheaded by Juan Luis Muñoz Escassi. This partnership is based on the idea that high-performance sport can and should be used as a global platform to raise awareness of critical causes and raise funds for vulnerable groups.
Over the years, staff from subsidiaries such as Azvi and Cointer have actively supported this cause, taking part in sporting challenges ranging from competitions organised at the iconic OXXEO building in Madrid to marathons. The foundation’s involvement has provided sustained support for causes of great human significance, such as the specialised programmes run by the Seville Autism Association, an organisation with which it has maintained an uninterrupted partnership for over a decade.
Similarly, this movement is joining forces to channel financial and institutional resources into transformative initiatives, helping to fund projects such as ‘OPORTUNIDAD’ run by the Paz y Bien Association. This programme takes a holistic approach to supporting young people leaving care as they transition into adulthood upon turning 18, providing them with housing support, specialist training and personalised clinical support to ensure they are not left vulnerable upon leaving the traditional care system.
