SUPERVISION OF UNIVERSITY UNDERGRADUATE PLACEMENTS
Work placement programme for students on the Bachelor’s degree programmes in Social Work and Social Education at the UNED
We offer UNED students the opportunity to undertake work placements at our foundation, which are designed to provide a 360° insight into social work and the third sector.
The aim is for students to broaden their knowledge of children in care in Andalusia and the protection of children’s rights. To this end, our work placements enable students to combine hands-on experience with institutional management across the following areas:
- Direct Intervention: fieldwork in child protection centres.
- Management and Strategy: involvement in the Foundation’s administration and strategic planning.
- Communication and Awareness-raising: assisting with public relations, media outreach and pre-production of our radio programme.
- Project Development: drafting social intervention projects and coordinating volunteers.
This comprehensive course enables students to familiarise themselves not only with the technical aspects of the work, but also with the inner workings and social impact of a non-profit organisation.
