ARCO IRIS
Intercultural and socio-educational programme for children and teenagers
The Arco Iris Programme, developed by the Grupo Azvi Foundation in collaboration with the Sevilla Acoge Foundation, is an intercultural and socio-educational initiative aimed at children and teenagers. Its aim is to promote equal opportunities, educational success and the social integration of vulnerable children and young people, thereby contributing to their personal and community development.
Through a comprehensive approach, the programme offers educational support, socio-emotional guidance and opportunities for social interaction that promote values such as respect, diversity, participation and responsible citizenship. It also encourages the creation of inclusive environments where people from different cultural backgrounds can live together, fostering intercultural dialogue and social cohesion.
Its key areas of focus include academic and educational support, the promotion of healthy lifestyles, the development of personal and social skills, and access to cultural, sporting and educational leisure activities that enrich the participants’ learning experience.
In addition to its direct work with children, the Arco Iris Programme provides support for families, helping them to balance family and work life and helping to strengthen their social inclusion.
Through this initiative, the Grupo Azvi Foundation reaffirms its commitment to children and young people and to building a more inclusive society, by providing opportunities that promote the holistic development of the younger generations and strengthen community cohesion.
