The Seville Food Bank Foundation and the Azvi Group Foundation have renewed their partnership agreement to improve food security for vulnerable families

The Seville Food Bank Foundation and the Azvi Group Foundation have renewed their annual partnership agreement, consolidating a charitable alliance that the two organisations have maintained for over a decade, the main aim of which is to help ensure food security for the most vulnerable people in the city of Seville.

The agreement was signed yesterday, 8 July 2026, at the Seville offices of the law firm Garrigues, by Mr. Manuel Contreras Ramos, president of the Grupo Azvi Foundation, and Mr. Leopoldo Parias, president of the Seville Food Bank Foundation.

Thanks to this renewal, the Azvi Group Foundation will continue to provide financial support for food security programmes aimed primarily at women and children living in socially vulnerable neighbourhoods of Seville, thereby helping to ensure access to adequate food for hundreds of families facing financial difficulties. This collaboration forms part of the social commitment that both organisations share to improving the living conditions of the most disadvantaged groups.

A well-established partnership

The partnership between the Grupo Azvi Foundation and the Seville Food Bank Foundation has become one of the most enduring initiatives in the field of corporate social responsibility in the province. The Azvi Group Foundation itself points out that it has been working with the Seville Food Bank for over ten years through annual contributions aimed at supporting various food aid programmes, a partnership that has on occasion also been extended to respond to extraordinary circumstances and social emergencies.

In previous rounds of funding, both organisations have focused their efforts on supporting vulnerable children and women, backing food aid programmes delivered through social organisations working directly on the ground.

Commitment to children and families

The Azvi Group Foundation counts the promotion of children’s rights and the protection of minors amongst its key priorities, viewing adequate nutrition as an essential factor in ensuring their well-being and development. As such, the renewal of this agreement reaffirms the organisation’s commitment to projects that have a direct impact on the quality of life of children and families at risk of social exclusion.

For its part, the Seville Food Bank Foundation continues to work tirelessly to ensure access to food for those on the lowest incomes, whilst promoting social intervention, training and employability programmes aimed at fostering the social inclusion of the most vulnerable groups.

The renewal of this agreement marks, once again, a joining of forces between the two foundations to continue working towards a more caring Seville, where no family sees their right to sufficient, healthy and dignified food compromised.
