Training Session for Parents and Educators
The Training Workshop for Parents and Educators is an initiative of the Grupo Azvi Foundation aimed at promoting reflection and understanding of the challenges faced by children and young people in today’s society. Through this forum for dialogue, the Foundation provides families, educators and professionals with tools and perspectives that help them to better understand the needs of the younger generations and to support their holistic development.
The event consists of an in-depth interview with a highly respected specialist working in the fields of adolescent care, education, psychology, emotional wellbeing or social development. These conversations take place at the iconic Hotel Alfonso XIII in Seville, a setting that encourages the exchange of ideas and reflection on issues of particular relevance to the educational community and families.
The topics covered include issues such as education in the digital age, family communication, emotional wellbeing, the use of technology, the prevention of risky behaviour, social interaction and the social changes that influence the growth and development of children and young people. Taking a personal yet rigorous approach, each session offers insights into better understanding the realities of adolescence and tackling its challenges with greater resources.
The interviews are published on the Grupo Azvi Foundation’s YouTube channel, where they remain available to view, thereby helping to build up a repository of educational content of interest to families, teachers and professionals.
Throughout its history, this forum has featured contributions from leading figures in the fields of education, psychology, philosophy, sociology and human rights, including Federico Mayor Zaragoza, Emilio Calatayud, Victoria Camps, Pepa Horno, Begoña Ibarrola, Marisol Ramoneda, Néstor Herrera, Pablo Poo, Francisco Anguita Hidalgo and Lucía Infante. Their contributions have enriched the debate on the education and wellbeing of the younger generations, establishing this event as a tool for raising awareness and promoting learning for the benefit of society.
