CORPORATE VOLUNTEERING

For the last three years, the Grupo Azvi Foundation has been encouraging corporate volunteering among Grupo Azvi employees. Our first activities took place in Valparaíso, Chile where we undertook the restoration of the city’s historic school of Fine Art and in the Andes where volunteers from COINTER Chile collaborated in a social intervention programme for at risk girls. Since 2016, volunteers from COINTER Mexico have been doing important work with disadvantaged children in Tapachula, Chiapas. Further to these, in 2018, a social centre was built in san José Pavencul (Altos de Tapachula) to improve integration in the area and reduce risk behaviours among children and adolescents.     

In 2019, the Grupo Azvi Foundation continued to receive support from COINTER México, with volunteers from the Tapachula road project; from COINTER Chile with volunteers from ZEAL and PTLA; and from AZCALE with volunteers from Bucharest, Rumania who have been working with disadvantaged children and on parental education schemes.
