Solidarity in action
This is how we promote social commitment at the Grupo Azvi Foundation
At the Grupo Azvi Foundation, we firmly believe that business progress must go hand in hand with a commitment to people. We therefore actively promote activities that foster humanitarian awareness and solidarity, encouraging these values amongst both Grupo Azvi’s staff and their families.
Our work takes the form of programmes and initiatives designed to have a positive impact on the environment and build a fairer society:
- Charity fundraising: We organise regular fundraising campaigns to benefit various groups in socially vulnerable situations.
- International corporate volunteering: We promote charitable initiatives in the countries where Grupo Azvi has investments, focusing our efforts on the most vulnerable children.
- Volunteering opportunities: We provide opportunities for social and personal development to the company’s staff.
- Support for former employees: We support former staff members facing social difficulties, with a particular focus on our programmes for older adults, offering guidance, assistance and ad hoc financial support.
- Recognition of the third sector: We present an annual public award to organisations that share the values of our Foundation. Over the years, this award has recognised the valuable work of leading organisations such as the Seville 1 Prison, the volunteers at the Los Andes Inland Port in Chile, Paz y Bien, Proyecto Hombre, Sevilla Acoge, AXIO, the MAS Foundation and the ANCLAJE Association. Notable among these contributions are ANCLAJE’s fight against alcoholism (focusing primarily on women) and Proyecto Hombre’s work in research, prevention and treatment of addictions.
- Children’s drawing competition: We are holding the Grupo Azvi Foundation’s traditional competition to encourage communication, creativity and shared activities between parents, grandparents, children and grandchildren.
Partnerships that make a difference: our involvement in the Reto Pichón initiative
In 2025, we strengthened our social commitment by joining the Reto Pichón initiative, led by Juan Luis Muñoz Escassi. Through charity sports events, Grupo Azvi’s employees threw themselves wholeheartedly into this cause. Thanks to their direct involvement, we were able to contribute to high-impact projects, such as supporting children with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and promoting the social integration of young people who have left care.
We are deeply grateful for the commitment shown by the entire Grupo Azvi team and their families. Their solidarity is the driving force that enables us to transform our environment every day.
