The Azvi Group Foundation is holding a Mass in honour of the Venerable Fernando de Contreras at Seville Cathedral
The Azvi Group Foundation held a solemn Mass in honour of the Venerable Fernando de Contreras in the Royal Chapel of Seville Cathedral, in a ceremony steeped in meaning and contemplation, officiated by the Salesian priest Sergio Codera.
The ceremony, which took place on Friday 20 February at 6.00 pm, brought together colleagues from the organisation to pay tribute to the Venerable, whose life and work continue to be a source of inspiration for the social work promoted by the Foundation, particularly in support of vulnerable children.
The celebration featured a outstanding performance by the Los Palacios Choir, which accompanied the liturgy with a carefully selected repertoire, lending solemnity and emotion to a deeply symbolic occasion for the organisation.
At the end of the Mass, a floral tribute was laid at the tombstone of the Venerable Fernando de Contreras, situated in front of the High Altar of Seville Cathedral. This gesture served as a tribute and a reminder of the Foundation’s commitment to the values that guided his life: education, protection and support for the most vulnerable.
Through this event, the Grupo Azvi Foundation reaffirms its social mission and its firm commitment to building a fairer future, keeping alive the inspiration of those who dedicated their lives to serving others.
